Bush, Trump square off over FL casinos ---here it comes

There's a lot of dirty stuff going on in FL or was when Jerk! was gov. When I visited the Naples area, the whole state was being torn up right down to the Everglades with illegal wetlands development. I really wonder about these casinos.

During Wednesday night’s G.O.P. debate, former Florida governor Jeb Bush attempted to counter Donald Trump’s characterization of him as low energy. In the debate's first hour, CNN host Jake Tapper asked Bush about his $100 million in super-PAC money—specifically, Trump’s criticism of his having a super-PAC in the first place. Bush took the opportunity to counterpunch, bringing up what he said was Trump’s attempt to lobby his way (via giving Bush money) into building casinos in Florida.

It turned into a big exchange of “No, I didn’t”s and “Yes, you did”s. Literally:

Trump: No, I didn’t.

Bush: Yes, you did.

Trump: Totally false.

Bush: You wanted it and you didn’t get it. I was opposed to casino gambling before—

Trump: I promise I would have gotten—

Bush: —during, and after! I’m not going to be bought by anyone.

Trump: I promise, if I wanted it, I would have got it.

Bush: Not even possible.

Trump: I know my people.

When he says, "I promise, if I wanted it, I would have got it." Did he mean - he would have made an offer one couldn't refuse?

These guys are discussing such a deal. Good thing for ! he said no. He's not a bright guy but at least he has some scruples (maybe).
