Watching MSNBC and some commentator on with Lawrence said that Trumps inexperience caused him not to correct the crazy dude who claimed Obama is is Muslim, blah, blah, blah, then went on to say no one else on the stage last night would have let that happen.

The only one I think would certainly condemn a comment like that is Kasich.

Look 50 plus percent of Republicans believe Obama is a Muslim, 70 plus percent of the Republicans believe he was not born in the U.S. or aren't sure.

1. Now you know why I haven't watched TV news for 11 years

and that includes broadcast news, as well. The most I've seen is a second or two as I'm shuffling through the channels.

The only news out there worth a damn is Al Jazeera America. They report the news in neutral language and I have watched a few of their in depth shows. They're great.

You'll never see any positive stories about Israel there, but you can switch back to corporate news for those.

I found them during Fukushima, only outlet that actually reported rather than playing the same endless loop. But when the subject of Isreal comes up they do feel like Fox News Middle East.

As I said, I only watch a few in depth stories now and then and if you want puff pieces about Israel, get them on mainstream news.

I think what impresses me most is the unbiased language and the lack of breathy blondes who talk about celebrity garbage like it's the end of the universe.

When I was in the hospital last spring, I found the hospital TV menu very limited, no TCM or other movie channels, so I tried watching CNN. That lasted for 5 minutes, even on heavy drugs. I just couldn't take it. I don't know how anyone can. However, since people do, that might be one of the reasons the country has gone nuts.
