Expelled Michigan State Rep Cindy Gamrat's version of accountability, in one quote

This is her explanation for running, again.

"People have come up to me in the grocery store, in the post office, saying they feel bad for what has happened to me," Gamrat told Reuters. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/cindy-gamrat-affair_55fb33a4e4b00310edf66fa3)

What HAPPENED to her!? Like she had no personal involvement in what went on? Color me totally gobsmacked!!

I find it beyond embarrassing that she's even allowed to run, again, being as she was expelled, and there is an ongoing criminal investigation into the use of public funds to hid her affair with Representative Courser. Oh, and it looks like he's running again, too. Guess they miss each other, living with their families on opposite sides of the Mitten.

And I remember reading and hearing about the not so happy groups that showed up at their offices, to confront them, when they finally showed their faces.

Maybe she should have relocated her office to the local super market.

I'm so fortunate to live in a very blue district. I'm represented, entirely, by good Democrats on both a state and national level.

Rain, snow and adultery storms can suddenly pop up with NO warning.

10. Gamrat is in a VERY safe GOP district, but she will be primaried

Courser is in a slightly more possibly, maybe, could be vulnerable district. It's right by mine, which is solid blue. But, it is also pretty rural. And I think it's a safe bet they will both be primaried by multiple candidates.

cover story, were all Todd Courser's doing. Of course Cindy went along with it.

The bigger concern is that the cover-up continues. What did the GOP leadership in the House know? What did AG/GOPvernor-in-waiting Bill Schuette know? What did Governor Snyder know (the 'onetoughnerd' was conveniently out of the Country when this all got "fixed&quot ?

Which explains why Sam Singh and others in the House voted against expulsion pending a real and thorough investigation. Now those fears have been realized. Since there was no real investigation or other penalties Courser and Gamrat are now able to spin this any way they want and run for their open seats (as another DUer pointed out thanks to the crazy gerrymandering in this State they stand a good chance of winning those solidly Red districts).

At least Cindy Gamrat was always up front about being a teabagger.

in the House's Report against him. To the extent that's true he can thank his fellow GOPers running this State for failing to do a real investigation.
