Job Question - What Religious Exemptions Do You Claim While In This Position?

If the public has to accommodate an applicant for any and every religious exemption on a job there will be chaos. What if you are in the medical profession and need to perform an activity that violates your conscience to save someone? Or do we get to the point where businesses will put up Jews only, Moslems only, Christians only, No atheists served, etc etc etc.

We are really getting into the weeds over this religious freedom. What about child brides being legal? What about someone converting to a religion who is in a job that has activities that NOW violate their conscience?

And if public servants can refuse to provide legal services that violate their conscience like Davis then the public becomes the public is put in a position to conform to THEIR religion in a way.

. . .

Nehemiah Scudder is the fictional President (2012-2015) and First Prophet (2016-?) of the United States of America in Robert A. Heinlein's "Future History" series. Sometime during Scudder's first term, he succeeds in converting the US from a democracy into a religious dictatorship (theocracy). The original Scudder story ("If This Goes On...&quot was written in 1940, with several other references dating as late as 1987 (in Heinlein's last published novel, To Sail Beyond the Sunset).

And it's because we have people in office who support it and tolerate it. It needs to stop. We need an absolute separation between church and state with no exceptions.
