Stand with Planned Parenthood! Wear pink on 9/29!
And anyone in Tucson who's in need of STD testing, can be tested for free on the 29th at the local PP health care clinic. If the word gets out on this, I wonder how many teabaggers in hats and dark glasses will show up for one of those free tests.

I keep wondering where are all the people who stand with Planned Parenthood. You don't hear many dems standing up for them. You don't see a lot of talking heads on the tv standing up for them. Where is everybody?

Tell people that PP does not receive government funding for abortions. Title X funding, which is carefully audited, provides diagnostic services, birth control education, and many other things, but NOT ABORTIONS. To divest PP of Title X government funds will result in more unwanted pregnancies and MORE ABORTIONS.
Tell people that all of the non-religious hospitals in this country--including hospitals that have saved their lives and their loved ones lives--provide safe abortions and donate fetal tissue for research.
Tell people that the videos and photos that started this right wing-incited avalanche of fear and ignorance are proven to have been maliciously edited for that very purpose.
Tell people that, if they have a religious or moral objection to abortion, they do themselves no favor by basing their arguments on the shaky ground of deception rather than on the bedrock of their beliefs.
