7. Technically the twins were not born out of wedlock

Kim Davis was married to husband #1 when they were conceived and married to husband #2 & 4 when they were born. Just because husband #3 fathered the children is immaterial. In most states traditionally the man a woman is married to at the time of birth is considered the father.

Plus, Kim Davis didn't become fully saved until just a few years ago after she remarried husband #2 and made him husband #4. It seems that this man's mother as a dying wish wanted Davis to repent.

This sounds like a character bio from a soap opera!

Seriously, before this happened most people probably thought a soap opera was the only place were something like this happened. Someone could have said this is like the Nikki Newman storyline on The Young and The Restless, but even Nikki Newman's life is less complicated than this woman. You probably have some problems in your life when it is more complicated than the life of a character from a soap opera.

12. If Kim Davis weren't using her government position to enforce her prejudice

I might have some sympathy for her. Obviously she has some serious emotional issues shown by her history and her behavior on camera. Maybe some religions could be good for her but the one she has chosen is not providing a stabilizing force.

She really ought to resign from her position and devote herself completely to he religion. Or if she really wants to stay in office she needs to change her religion to one that is not so invested in controlling other people's lives.
