General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsYou know what the down side is to Scott Walker dropping out of the GOP race?
Wisconsin is now definitely in play for the Republicans.
Had Walker somehow gotten the GOP nomination, we would have easily won Wisconsin. Even if Walker had run a great campaign, and won the presidency, we would still have won Wisconsin. The people who have lived under him know better than anyone what a terrible president he would have been.
On Edit: I also think we can beat Trump, Fiorina, Bush, Kasich or Rubio in Wisconsin. But if Walker had been the nominee I am almost certain we would have won. My point was not that I expect to lose Wiconsin, or the general election. My point was that I think Scott Walker would have been a worse candidate in that state than anyone else, since the voters there know how horrible he is.

(10,500 posts)I think Hillary (or a different Democratic nominee) can and will win the state. I just think that Walker would be the easiest to beat, since Wisconsin voters know the best what a disaster he would be for the country.

(34,661 posts)Economic factors have taken on a real negative aspect. It's Pocket Book things that will turn Wisconsin Blue once again. Appears the Koch Bros, and other big money people are seeing the real results of a Walker lead State and it is good bye Scottie.
