I just watched Colbert and Cruz.

My husband said he did not have the stomach for it and fast forwarded to Don Henley.

I thought it went well. Cruz was not the blithering idiot I think him to be. Colbert was not rude but asked real questions.
I do wish he had countered the stupid comment about following the Constitution and then challenging the Supreme Court in the same point. I wanted him to say that Cruz was fine when the court elected GWB.

He was right to call down his audience. It it very teaparty like to yell rude comments and boo.

He is a terrifying bad guy. I hope he will say the wrong thing soon, but I know he is clever.

Why was I not there to ask my question about the Court???
Why does no one challenge any of them with this new mantra..."Nine unelected people making decisions"???
What is learned at the newest Koch seminar and payment party??

It is in the damn Constitution......

He seems to think the public is too stupid to remember 1) there are nine justices on the Supreme Court, or 2) the U.S. Constitution requires that Supreme Court justices be appointed by the president and approved by Congress, or 3) that there are a number of 5-4 rulings Cruz conveniently omits (Citizens United, Hobby Lobby, Bush v Gore) since he approves of those results.

And he knows that most of them must be talked down to if he is to get to them.

But like the song says, "we don't buy you:"
