His Holiness very aptly called out the buzzwords with which we divide ourselves.

Mention of Family brought raucous applause from Republicans, then he says little or nothing about gay marriage but about poor children brought up alienated and hopeless.

Speaks of preservation of life at all stages and Republicans in the crowd go wild. He does not hammer home the abortion issue but then speaks of ending capital punishment causing pretty much all Republicans and many Democrats to sit on their hands.

I get the feeling he knows our politics quite well.

Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindtal, and the rest are going to have to pull this "Pope" guy aside and explain what is really important. In this world. Things like low taxes for the wealthy, corporate profits, and guns.
