The beginning of the long slide downward. So long, Donald!

According to polls, in the last week Donald Trump has lost 9 points, the largest slide to date.

Fiorina and Carson have gone up, but they will also likely hit the wall soone. Carson is a political simpleton and a evolution denier. Fiorina has her own share of cranium mixed nuts: she doesn't believe in the moon landing. When the electorate look at these two closely, they will wither and fall from the branch

Jeb Bush and Mark Rubio have small, but secure increases.

I think October will sink Trump and he'll likely be secretly relieved.

Here's the Real Clear Politics poll in a clear graph:

1. People may be tiring of him saying things that contain absolutely no substance whatsoever.

I was watching CNN this morning and they made note of Rubio criticizing Trump for not having a plan regarding ISIS. Instead of actually answering Rubio's decision, he simply made some trite personal attacks on Rubio and didn't address ISIS at all.

Eventually, even the bullshitted will come to discover that you are full of shit.

including a woman and a minority. Then the GOP leadership's first choice floated to the surface.

And I really think he knew it too. He just didn't have anything any better to do with his time.

to do so both times. Even if they won't vote for Bush, they will vote against any Democratic nominee, which means, of course, that they will go to the polls and pull the lever for Bush, even if they have to hold their nose to do so..

19. After all is said and done, they will go with whoever Limbaugh backs.

And of course, that all depends on who does the best job of greasing Limbaugh's palm.

8. Denying evolution is a requirement, not a detriment, for Repub candidates.

There are other reasons Carson will likely fade but denying evolution certainly is not one of them.

But at some point arguing against commonly accepted scientific knowledge will be harmful.

It seems they can get away with arguing against climate change because that's somewhat new and it has strong vested interests supporting the denial, but evolution . . .?

Carson is a light-weight without a Karl Rove to tell him what not to say.

I can't imagine him still running next Jan.

15. I agree. He is a lightweight with a limited shelf life.

I think his expiration date is in November, though. Still, if he can control himself, his strong appeal to Evangelicals might be able to counter the racist wing of the party for several more weeks.
