Heritage Action Cheers: Boehner 'Stood In The Way' Of Conservatives

Heritage Action celebrated the resignation of House Speaker John Boehner in a statement released Friday morning. The conservative lobbying group’s chief executive, Michael A. Needham, wrote that Boehner “has stood in the way” of “conservative policy solutions.”

The full statement was posted to the group's website.

“Americans deserve a Congress that fights for opportunity for all and favoritism to none. Too often, Speaker Boehner has stood in the way. Today’s announcement is a sign that the voice of the American people is breaking through in Washington. Now is the time for a principled, conservative leader to emerge. Heritage Action will continue fighting for conservative policy solutions and we look forward to working with the new leadership team."

Wing of the Thugs. Like I mentioned prior,a big win for the Birch Society Members, and my concern is,is this the move that crashes our Economy, and some Putz waving a Piece of Paper Claiming He or She riding on a White Horse to save the Constitution in the name of some Sky Fairy.

That they would destroy the country to do it. I'm to the point where I hate them and their dumb ignorant fundie/RWNJ supporters. These people have no shame or morals.

How can you "stand in the way" of an organization that hasn't done crap for 4 years?

I especially love his talk about "not abandoning our posts" when military service is conspicuously absent from his resume during a time of war.

Remember the 2007 video about the College Republican convention, how they all supported the war and the military...as long as it was someone else? "Stay at your post" Mike was a little older, but the exact same type.
