8. It's Giorgio! He's been called back to the homeworld to prepare for Earth's invasion.

Somehow NASA tracked him to the secret underground entrance, since the Martians have been forced to live below the surface after losing their atmosphere. It's very sad, but we can help them. Or else, another war needs to start soon, and who knows how much oil Mars has?

But seriously, I suspect some sort of bacterial life has been confirmed. I'm pretty sure we know there's water there, frozen at the poles.

I'm kind of excited, to be honest. If it's confirmed life, then we know for a fact we can't be alone in the Universe. At least, we'll be pretty damned sure.
