What happened to Joe and Mika today? Did they finally run off together?

Usually, the two of them are not absent the same day with no explanation.

Usually, I think money and ahem, personal relationships are at play. So I am thinking contract dispute with MSNBC or some serious blow up between the two of them could be the reason.

The show today was bad for republicans. I've never seen such a depressed bunch of them. No joy in mudville. I think Boner's resignation and how terrible that all looked really got to them. The reality is that nobody likes them outside of their tight little bubble and it's becoming apparent...

The partisanship has been so overwhelmingly bias, I refuse to give them viewership. Every other word Joe says is "I" because he is such a flagrant narcissist. All politicians are narcissists by the nature of the business, it's all about them. I cannot patronize that bullshit. When mainstream media starts reporting facts in favor of the people, and not political parties, I may reconsider. Until then....fuck em!

The GOP is really down on the pope-meister. Their logic is totally amusing if you can get past the queasiness one feels when any of them start to speak. "Unless you speak to the issues the GOP feels are most important, you're just another liberal left-wing hack!"

I'm just kind of blow away. They don't even realize the ridiculousness of what they're demanding of THE FREAKIN' POPE! The scariest part is that these aren't even the stupidest people among the GOP ranks. More brain-dead pond scum is likely to be crawling out of the electoral pond as I type this.

So, anyway, man-made climate change which will kill us all is off-the-table in GOP/Pope discussions. War, poverty, meh, you're meddling in our politics. Keep it on teh gay and abortions and we're good, capiche?

This one was in Chicago on Friday. Maybe the two were here taking advantage of the '100 mile rule.'
