(145,147 posts)The DOJ and a group of plaintiffs sued a while back. The trial ended last year and there was some briefing back in April through early June on the effects of the SCOTUS opinion in the Alabama case. The opinion in this case is long o overdue in that candidate sign up starts in Texas on Nov. 14 and no one has any idea as to the boundaries
