I am always amazed at those who "know" they are RIGHT!

And in no way shape or form can tolerate compromise... to gain the greater good.

The republicans are in the process of eating their own, because they were afraid to stand up and be counted for trying to get something done for the greater good.

God speaks to a whole bunch of them apparently (odd how many He tells to run for President, but whatever; maybe He likes jokes) and for them the "greater good" doesn't mean what it does to us. I think they are more interested in storing up treasures in Heaven than actually helping out anybody here on Earth.

Also odd that He never seems to tell one who is actually qualified to run.

For those with opposing worldviews, what is 'greater good' to one person is a horrible mistake to another.

Usually it has something to do with math. People try and tell me I am doing math wrong and I just have to tell them no, I am right!!!
Occasionally, it has to do with doing something right, LIke when someone wants to do something I don't believe in, like not tipping for slightly bad service,I only don't tip for outrageous behavior. Being slow is not always the workers fault unless you see them talking on their phone and they ignore your attempts to get their attention.
