Success...I nabbed the other kitten this morning...and two more after that.

Here's the sibling...very frail and shy...cleaned him up a little but it's clear he's not feeling well...I'll take him to the vet's later.

The other two are the same, one black and one Siamese...but a little bigger...I assume the same litter, but you never know.

I'm partial to Siamese, love the contrasting colors and my darlings have always been very affectionate.

You are so good, they are lucky.

Still trying with one of the two ferals that showed up here last year. One is inside and getting along very well, a real cuddler of a house cat, the other comes in to eat each day but still will not let me touch him. You win some and you lose some but you, YOU are doing very well. Thank you from this kitty lover.

Hope he survives, but if not, at least you will have made him warm and comfortable.

Please give us bulletins on how they all do.

lump covering one eye and the other appeared to be completely closed. We took him to the vet who removed the most infected eye, it was too far gone.

But the good news was, his was able to save the other eye. We are still applying anti-biotics to that eye, but he CAN see.

We were going to try to get him adopted because we have already adopted several rescue cats.

But we have decided to keep him. We called him 'Muffin'.

He is doing great now, playing and the other big cats have more or less accepted him. The dog loves him though.

Now we have to try to catch the other kittens, there are six from two different litters and some seem to have some eye problems.

Muffin was about six weeks old when we caught him, now about two months.

I'm so glad you are helping those poor little kittens.

After having witnessed the aftermath of someone discarding an entire litter on the side of a busy street earlier this year, it does my soul good to see the antithesis of that monster. Best wishes to you and the kittens, I hope they recover.

(My wife and daughter rescued one of our 3 cats last October. He is doing great healthwise, but he remains skittish and scarred by his time alone in the woods as a newborn about the same size as the ones you are posting pics of...)

So glad you were able to get them. So there were five in total? I know you found one of them that didn’t make it.

You mentioned yesterday you have a rescue lined up for the little black fella - will they take the others as well?

We have 4 cats and the big dog. One of the cats is the dog's best pal. They nearly ALWAYS together.

Somehow, some way, that pal of his got out of the house . Mind you these are strictly indoor kitties.

So, he's acting out a little the next morning because she's not around but not enough to freak me out.

Next morning around 4:30 i take doggie out in the back yard, and as i'm going back in, i hear a meow. I recognized that meow.

So, i put him in the door and called he last name (Bennetti. They all have italian last names.)

She answers. I go over there and pick her up and bring her back in. She was out there all night in a storm and all she did was hide under the deck for the night.

She must have really hated it out there because she never goes NEAR that door any longer.
