WCPT 820 Chicago - Long Time Illinois GOP Rep Primaried. DID NOT VOTE TO SHUT DOWN GOVT!!!

Was just on the radio that a very long GOP Illinois House Representative just got a primary opponent in his district because he vote FOR the short term appropriation bill. The charge he has been in Congress too long and does NOT represent Illinois constituents. He is not right wing enough. His voters WANT their Social Security and Medicare ended?

YOU JUST WANT TO PULL OUT YOUR GOD DAMNED HAIR. I grew up in Illinois and the bastards down state are more like Alabamans and Mississippians. The only blue area in the state is Chicago. And they have always outvoted the rest.

2. I hitchhiked there north to south when I was young

and at about Vandalia, it turns into Mississippi. Very strange.

I grew up in the state capitol. I remember even when I was in grade school hearing that Chicago always outvoted downstate. I did not realize at that time that my county Sangamon was strongly GOP. It is only in recent years that I now realize I grew up in such a bigoted racist part of the state.
