e leader of a Christian group who claimed that the world would end on Wednesday has admitted his prediction was incorrect.
Chris McCann, head of the eBible fellowship, warned that the planet would be destroyed with fire on 7 October. This did not happen.
Since it is now 8 October it is now obvious that we were incorrect regarding the worlds ending on the 7th, McCann said.

(17,469 posts)1. Kinda...
So it was surprising that it did not occur. But the comforting thing is that Gods will is always perfect.
Maybe, but you sir, are a gibbering loon.
While the world did not end, McCann said on Thursday it would be obliterated soon.
So, wasn't that rapture thing supposed to happen first? Wasn't God supposed to de-assholify the planet of people like you before grabbing us sinners by the short and curlies?
I also know that God knows exactly when that end will come, he said.
I spoke with God just now by text, and She assures me She no longer has any interest in what happens to us or this planet. She says we voided the warranty when we trashed the place. Oh, and we are NOT getting our deposit back.

(82,849 posts)2. If I could say one thing to Mr. McCann
It would be, "Just shut up. You scare a bunch of suggestible people, you waste a lot of people's time and money, and you don't know what you're talking about. In the name of all that's holy, Just. Shut. Up."

they can erase all theological teachings, why not pretend the other 7.3B people aren't around?
