Russ Feingold has big lead in Wisconsin

This is awesome news. Russ is fantastic, and I think he will be even better for having lost his seat awhile back. Looks like the Dems will pick up at least THIS Senate seat. Haven't looked too closely at the other match-ups yet.

from Liberaland

Russ Feingold has a big lead in a Marquette University Law School poll to regain his U.S. Senate seat.

US Senate race in Wisconsin: New poll results find Democrat Russ Feingold at 50%, Republican Ron Johnson at 36%. #mulawpoll

Not just for me, but for my friendly cheesehead friends, including my brother-in-law and John Nichols, not to mention all the Wisconsin DUers. Keep the momentum up and let's retire Johnson by burying him so deeply, he'll only run for the fridge in the future.

I think Tammy Duckworth will take Illinois, too.

At least a couple of pickups!

Feingold was vulnerable after his ACA vote. Johnson had momentum coming out of the primary. Non-Presidential election year. 2010 was the year of the Tea Party.

...the nightmare will soon be over in WI. Great news! Not sure what happened with WI for a while now, it's been quite distressing. UW-M (my alma mater) used to be one of the most progressive campuses in the country, back in the day. Go Russ! Go Badgers!

...36% still voting for republicans after the state-rape that has been the Walker Years. never under-estimate the power of ignorance and want.
