A bombing EXACTLY like the one in Ankara happened earlier this year.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_Suru%C3%A7_bombing

ISIS attacked a demonstration in Suruc with a suicide-bombing. Just prior the turkish governor had declared that there is no terrorist threat in the area.

Right after the explosions, the area was suddenly swarmed with police who prevented people from leaving and fired tear-gas at the bombing-survivors. They also prevented ambulances from helping people.

After the attack, Turkey pretended to be angry at ISIS and stepped up the bombing and arrest of PKK-members, instead of targeting ISIS.

---------------------------

A mysterious suicide-bombing that targets an opposition-demo.

At a time when Erdogan wants to play the "national security"-card for the upcoming elections. (Which are only scheduled because Erdogan didn't like the outcome of the national election earlier this year: He merely scored a victory, when he really wanted an overwhelming victory.)

And instead of attacking the people who did the bombing, ISIS, Erdogan attacks the people who fight ISIS.

Expect a repeat: Erdogan will blame ISIS for the Ankara-bombing, call for national unity in the face of this bombing, promise to fight ISIS in retaliation for this bombing. He will turn this into a turkish 9/11. All of this for the election. And while his election-ads talk about bombing ISIS, he bombs the Kurds instead.

Turkey is focusing on Islamic State in its investigation into a twin bombing that killed at least 128 people in Ankara, and are close to identifying one of the bombers, the prime minister has said.

Speaking on the Turkish broadcaster NTV, Ahmet Davutoğlu said the attack was an attempt to influence the country’s general election, scheduled to take place on 1 November, and any “isolated” security shortcomings would be investigated.

“We are focusing on (Isis) in our investigations. We are zooming in on one name that points to a certain criminal organisation,” Davutoğlu said. “But one cannot just say that we should round up an entire sleeper cell and throw them (in jail). We must act according to the law.”

He also said the government had not yet ruled out links to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ party (PKK) and the Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C).

And:

Some local media have implicated the brother of a man who carried out an IS bombing in the southern border town of Suruc in July, which killed more than 30 people.

There are also reports that investigators believe there are similarities between the device used in that attack and those used on Saturday.

Turkey announced after the Suruc bombing that it would allow its southern Incerlik airbase to be used by the US-led coalition targeting IS in Syria. Turkey, a Nato member, shares a long land border with its unstable southern neighbour.
