let people run around with guns. Does is strike anyone that this is the ultimate scam? That the terrorists really are in the Pentagon?

There's little need to elaborate. One could write a book about the hypocrisy and artistry required in order to pull this off. Bush neglects to act on a note read to him that mentions someone intent on flying planes into buildings. Then it happens, and the whole world suffers for the reaction. Kids going to school killing kids in school, all over the place, and it's a normal day.

Maybe we ought to make our voices heard. Maybe it's time we actually thought about where our tax dollars go. Think about the country we could have if we were able to participate in the democratic process.
