Racism alleged at grade school, educator on administrative leave

The parents say two of their children, whom they describe as mixed-race, were told by an adult at Bailey Park Elementary School that black people were "stupid" and shouldn’t go to school with white people.
“It’s an unbelievable situation,” said Geoff Burd, whose daughter Nikki claims a para-educator told her those stunning words. “This is 2015. That’s crazy.”
“Black people and white people can’t be family. Black people should not go to this school. Black people should have their own school,” Nikki said.
