Quick note on the Syrian refugees (all those young man)

Trump and others on the right have pointed out and issued warnings that a majority of refugees consist of young man without families, suggesting they could be ISIS fighters. They raise the question 'Where are all the women and children?'

However, most of these young men are drafted in the Syrian army and have fled the country to avoid fighting in the war.
Those already in Europe are waiting to be reunited with their families left behind in Syria.
I think it's important to know this when people bring up the Trojan Horse theory.

Sorry for the lousy grammar, I am working on it.

Thanks, Jeroen. Typical right-wing xenophobia, as usual not borne out by facts. Hortensis Oct 2015 #1

It's a very big part of what makes these guys so popular on the right, though, especially the trouble-mongering social/religious conservatives. Bircherism alive and well.

I went to read more and found a good FactCheck.org piece on this at http://www.factcheck.org/2015/09/stretching-facts-on-syrian-refugees/
