But to some that means nothing because of whatever.
I've personally met thousands of musicians and there are some I won't bother giving the time of day to but I'll still listen to their amazing music. Same goes for any other artist.
I probably would never want to sit and talk to Scott Adams, but like you, I sometimes find one of his strips to be dead accurate and funny as hell.
