Hopefully no more than a subtropical storm, but predicting plenty pf rain, 3-6 inches, and we do need the rain. I'm a little south of Jax, but will be on the backside of the storm. Right now just very windy, will get more as the day goes on.

will be getting a lot of rain. So far, Florida is not in any great danger, as the highest winds are only 50 mph at this time. They can do some damage, but not as extreme as hurricane force winds.

Am I wrong about that? Are northeasters common along the Florida coast?

It's kicking his butt down at the beach and we are bracing for power outages and downed limbs.

We've battened down the property and taken the steaks off the grill between the squalls.
