So, about this terra plot/bust in Rochester...

OK, so the FBI informant made up a crazy plot, took this rather unstable man/patsy to Walmart to buy a pressure cooker and some rope to take hostages, pays for it on the FBI's credit card ... And this is somehow ISIS recruiting for terrorizing 'Muricans?? According to our ever faithful corporocratic media... it is.

Yeah. I didn't read anything about a pressure cooker. And I didn't read anything about the FBI cherokeeprogressive Jan 2016 #3

The ISIS contact was not an FBI plant or person. One of the FBI operatives received screenshots of Lutchman's interactions with the contact. As instructed by the ISIS person, Lutchman did make the video prior to the planned attack swearing allegiance to the ISIS head and claiming the operation.

You can believe anything you want to believe, but it does not change the truth.

Also in the complaint (6) is that Lutchman has a prior criminal record and has been detained since on mental health grounds. I assume that ISIS is looking for these poor fools to exploit.

informant making up a crazy plot. What I DID read was that the guy had contact with someone overseas numerous times about perpetrating a crazy plot.

Are we discussing the same guy? Lutchman?

Same guy.

First delete all the information that doesn't pass the perceptual filter called "confirmation bias." Can't trust the MSM. Remember, "Your gut ist Gut."

Second, add in all the stuff that must be true to make a coherent story that conforms with the necessary constraints. We know what's going on. May as well just fill in the gaps with what we know is the truth. Esp. since it's impossible for a Muslim terrorist to not have a "Muslim" name.

The resulting conclusion, one completely supported because it's assumed as the premise of the argument, must be accurate.

as in Trinidad or Guyana.
Doesn't pass the smell test but the contractors are making loads of money - they said so - they love ISIS.
