who announced state ammo limit bill.
Just four days before the fifth anniversary of the shooting of Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, the NRA targeted a pair of Brooklyn lawmakers Monday with a menacing image of bullets next to photos of the two gun control advocates.
Americas 1st Freedom, an NRA publication, tweeted the image of state Sen. Roxanne Persaud and Assemblywoman Jo Anne Simon, both Democrats, weeks after they announced legislation aimed at controlling the sale of ammunition.
The two lawmakers and other local supporters including Mayor de Blasio and Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams condemned what came across as a veiled threat.
A National Rifle Association publication showed the organization's opposition to an ammunition limit bill with this tweet Monday morning.

(38,437 posts)One of them is an implied threat to a proponent of gun control, the other is an ominous warning that opposing gun control makes our children a target.
I'm surprised you cannot see the difference.

(86,308 posts)and this makes the NRA subject to laws of intimidation of government officials which should land LaPierre in jail.

(16,254 posts)Why isn't the NRA receiving a visit from the FBI or some authorities? If a person is caught suggesting/hinting/blatantly demanding someone take someone out on social media, there would be a knock at their door. The NRA knows just how far they can go.
They are a sick lot.
