An Omaha man was sentenced Tuesday to 9 to 10 years in prison for raping an unconscious 16-year-old South High student.

Douglas County District Judge Greg Schatz sentenced Nicholas Bregg — now 20, then 18 — to the term for the Feb. 15, 2014, rape that occurred after Bregg and co-defendant Javohn Templeman carted the unconscious girl out of a house party.

Bregg had pulled Templeman off of the girl after a female friend caught Templeman raping her while she was unconscious. The female friend said she later woke to Bregg raping the girl.

The Douglas County Attorney’s Office had offered both Bregg and Templeman the plea bargain because prosecutors said they had concerns about the police investigation.

I posted this in GD for exposure. This is for parents that might want to talk to their young teens male or female about this.

I mean, justice should be steady and certain, but two years seems a long time to wait for such a blatant evil.
