Bigoted "Mom" group hates on 2 dads and their beautiful adopted family.
American Girl magazine ran a nice article about 11-year-old Amaya, one of four children adopted from foster care by a gay couple in Maryland. They mentioned the charity the family started to provide other children in foster care with a backpack containing basic necessities so they would have pajamas, toiletries, etc., and wouldn't have to carry their possessions around in garage bags. A horrid, judgmental group calling itself One Million Moms (not to be confused with the Million Mom March for gun safety) launched a hateful campaign against the family. I saw this piece on the family, and to my surprise I have to give props to the local Fox affiliate for their positive, affirming coverage. The video below is worth watching for a lot of reasons, not the least of which is hearing young Amaya have the last word.
