Police have arrested an Omaha woman in the death of a 4-year-old girl whose body was found Tuesday night in a north Omaha house.

Chelsey Cook, 22, has been booked on suspicion of criminal homicide in the death of Alicia Morrow, police said Wednesday.

Cook was Alicia’s guardian, police said.

Officers arrived at 3025 Franklin St. just before 10 p.m. Tuesday and were directed to a body in the house. The homicide unit then was called to the residence to investigate.
