Cher Calls For Gov. Snyder To Be Executed Over Flint Water On Twitter

FLINT, MI -- Pop singer Cher took to Twitter on Tuesday and called Gov. Rick Snyder a "murderer," saying he should be executed because of the Flint water crisis.

In one tweet, Cher called Snyder a criminal and ended with #FIRINGSQUADWORKSFORME. Cher concluded another tweet with #JAILFORRICK.

Combined the tweets were liked nearly 1,500 times and retweeted more than 500 times.

The tweets came after Snyder declared a state of emergency for Flint on Tuesday because of the city's water issues.

Meanwhile, thanks to some replies, I would like to retract what I said about Cher. I though Dems were mostly anti-d.p. Apparently, Dems are split on the issue.

Snyder is the governor of my state. "Although I am normally against the death penalty", if he were to drop dead of natural causes, I would happily spit on his grave.

extent. They are not Republicans. Pretending that they are is counterproductive to to the objective of bringing the practice to an end. 62% of the country overall.

16. I didn't know that the democratic party had an official position against the DP.

Guess someone should tell the "frontrunner" since she is an enthusiastic supporter of the death penalty.

For the record I am against the DP and Cher is a democrat.

Cher is a longtime and active Democrat. She’s donated $11,400 to the Democratic Party and left-leaning interest groups since 1988, when she threw her support behind Michael Dukakis.4

More recently, Cher bucked Barack Obama in favor of Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primaries,5 but when Obama got the nomination, she endorsed him and did so again during his 2012 re-election bid.6

But it’s not just that Cher supports the Democrats, she’s been a loud critic of conservative Republicans, particularly during the Bush administration. She once said, both condemning George W. Bush and addressing those who criticize celebrities for expressing their views:

She loved her Little Man. And Sonny could keep a beat.

Gov. Snyder. Not so much. It's not incompetence when politicians enact policies for greed.

problems. I'm assuming some may not be known for several years after the deliberate poisoning.

Sorry.......he and others who knew, should be forced to drink and bathe in that water for the rest of his life.

Why do I feel that a lawsuit is in order with funds set aside for those effected.

I say lock him up and throw away the key, and put him in the same pit that Don Siegelman was in.
