In September, this vet had a heart attack and couldn't care for his two dogs. They were sent to a shelter and put up for adoption since he was unable to provide for them. When he had recovered, he had enough money to put down a deposit on them. When he came back in December for a visit, he got a wonderful surprise some volunteers had put up the money for the adoption fee (plus some extra for food and supplies) so he was reunited with his best buddies. The joy on everyone's face, human and canine, is wonderful!
