They have faced zeeo consequences for their actions, and no federal or state entity is making any motions to the opposite. This may fall apart, but others will witness that they succeeded in capturing and holding federal land with no reprisal and it will grow.

WTF I can understand them surrounding the place and watching and waiting, but if they leave they should be arrested on a lot of charges and hauled off. You know they have done some damage to the compound and keeping the employees from coming to work there not to mention the problems with school closures etc.

This is just crazy!

They're loons with lots of guns just itching to shoot someone or a lot of someones. They also have women and children there according to the article. Better to arrest them quietly when they're alone out for a stroll or drunk on the front porch, etc. Then again, no one got arrested (or paid their taxes/fines) after the Daddy Bundy incident... which tells me that someone is seriously on the take with that family.

The article also mentions that "Booda" Cavalier, the stolen valor goon, disappeared (went out for snacks and never went back apparently) after the Daily Mail's story about him never having served in the Marines and having a long string of DUI's and theft charges. Unsurprisingly, he sleeps with his gun and booze at close hand and simultaneously (though surprisingly, it's his booze he holds most dear to his heart seeing as how he clutches his Bacardi and not his Precious while slumbering)...

They let these wakadoodles make complete fools of themselves, from the final farewell vid to family to the desperate appeal for snacks to Blue Tarp Man to their head of security going on the lam after being outed as a phony wannabe combat vet to this.

And during that time they've gone through a succession of ever-changing explanations of their cause and ever-changing lists of demands and goals. From "I'm willing to lau down my life" to "I need to go home." From planning on staying for years to a much shorter plan for declaring victory and going home soon. They've even been quoted in an interview talking about surrender. They're being hoist on their own petard

Poor guys never got to be seen as a small band of heroic Patriots bravely holding off a surrounding, heavily-armed force of federal agents.

The feds may have to step in soon, though. Before these bozos hurt themselves.

I think, that as they wander off for whatever, they also don't end up getting back to the refuge. Might take a week or two but they'll all get picked up sooner or later. The laws were in favor of spontaneous capture since the event tool place on private property, this is an entirely different scenario and they can be detained at any time now that they have done this.

whether any are correct or whether some are tied together in some bizarre, twisted plot with tentacles, I just have yet to find evidence. But none are more outrageous than a mild musing might produce. I may be in a different state but what goes on over there is not so different from what is going on over here... in fact there's some (don't know how many) folks from around here over there in Oregon. And if you can picture what an effect this might have on certain campaigns...

It caught my attention when I saw this interesting tidbit in a Reuters story...

As the two Reuters’ reporters arrived just after nightfall, the occupiers were moving into a state of high alert. The groups’ head of security, a man known as Buddha, had been out of touch since driving off-site hours earlier. Amid efforts to locate him, the Bundys talked at length about what had brought them into this wilderness--and what it would take for them to leave.

...

Before climbing into sleeping bags, the Bundys, bodyguard Kjar and two others sat in a circle discussing the day’s lessons....

...

Buddha never returned.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-oregon-militia-refuge-insight-idUSKBN0UL0DW20160107

As he never returned that night, I looked for later news on him and found Raw Story's confirmation:

Brian “Booda” Cavalier, an Arizona tattoo artist who served as a bodyguard for the Bundys during the previous standoff, has left the nature preserve after the Daily Mail reported he had been lying about serving as a U.S. Marine in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Some of the militants also suspect Cavalier might be working as a federal informant.

https://www.rawstory.com/2016/01/trump-campaign-official-arrives-at-oregon-standoff-to-help-militants-combat-psyops/

He actually seems to have departed after he was confronted by the Daily Mail reporters about his phony combat Marine BS, but before the DM story was published. I guess he decided to get out of Dodge before it hit the press and his militia buddies saw it.

Fluffy Unicorn jackrabbited!
