Apparently Donald Trump is still giving out tickets to his Burlington speech...

Burlington Free Press:

The Trump campaign chose the Flynn for Thursday’s speech and used the online ticketing service Eventbrite to issue 20,000 free tickets as of Wednesday afternoon — a figure that was continuing to climb Thursday, just hours ahead of the speech.

People still could register for tickets online at 3:15 p.m.

about to congregate. I would think a crowd that size would be gathering already and roads would be bumper to bumper by now. I'm going to predict he gets nowhere near that number.

7. He's giving out 20K tickets for a venue that has 2K seats. Some people might not get in.

There's no provision for accommodating an overflow crowd, either.

What a weird guy.

He thinks he's gonna get half the town (it's a 'town' everywhere but VT) in the venue? On edit--venue can't accommodate anywhere near that number--he's shit stirring!!!!

I suppose they can come in from elsewhere, and over the border in the NH, too...but really.

If he were speaking near to me, I might go see him just for the freakshow. That said, if it interfered with JEOPARDY!. maybe not....

they had 6,500 confirmations for the 1,400 seats. They know the police have had to shut roads and call in officers from outside police departments.

and she brought this up last night, I imagined that the antagonist is doing this specifically to create a nasty problem in Bernie's home town such that he is either asked to cancel or wanting to make a scene to sully the city. Trying to overwhelm the theater would be a way to initiate a row.
