It was Cleveland cold that day (8-10º F at best). I couldn't feel my extremities until I got on the Metro at the end of the parade.

Until I saw those vehicles on the top of that dam...that high vertical wall of concrete holding back and enormous lake, and too skinny looking to me. Now my fear of heights has kicked in, as well as my fear of things like driving across dams.

... with the lake behind it, and the face of the dam pointing in the general direction of the photographer.

There appear to be reflections off the water's surface.

Edit: Using Google maps, I think that's Lac d'Emosson (the dam appears to lie on the border between Switzerland and France).
