Cuomo Dodges Federal Corruption Indictment..... Apparently.
So says NY Times.
Personally, I'd say our gov is a verrrrrrry lucky fellow.

A statement released on Monday from the office of Preet Bharara, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, indicated there is insufficient evidence to prove a federal crime.
The statement did not mention any of the potential targets, but Mr. Bhararas office has been investigating Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and some of his staff for possible obstruction of justice or witness tampering since Mr. Cuomo abruptly shuttered the panel, known as the Moreland Commission, in March 2014 in exchange for the Legislatures approving a modest package of ethics reforms.
Mr. Cuomo, a Democrat, had no immediate response, but his counsel, Elkan Abramowitz, thanked Mr. Bhararas office for acknowledging that no charges would be brought.
We were always confident there was no illegality here, and we appreciate the U.S. attorney clarifying this for the public record, Mr. Abramowitz said in a statement.
The announcement comes less than two months after Mr. Bhararas office successfully obtained the convictions on federal corruption charges of two of the states most powerful lawmakers, Sheldon Silver, the former Assembly speaker, and Dean G. Skelos, the former Senate majority leader, who, along with the governor, formed a trio that largely controlled New York politics.
Mr. Bhararas office will continue to investigate the cases left unfinished by the commission, which Mr. Cuomo created with promises of cleaning up corruption in state politics.
