Somebody Live-Tweeted A Trump Rally–Hilarious Just Met Terrifying (TWEETS)

Imagine if you will a place where the absurd is normal; where the asinine is acceptable; where the deplorable is respected. That place used to be called a “KKK rally.” Today it’s called a Donald Trump campaign event.

Thanks to one Twitter user called “Daniel Danger,” we get to see not just the idiocy of a Trump speech or the bully tactics of his security as they throw someone out. We get to see the kind of people who show up to these things and how they behave.

From the first tweet to the last, you can watch a night of sheer terror for democracy unfold before your eyes. While there are plenty of moments of pure hilarity, they pale in comparison to how disturbing the event is in its entirety:

I went to a Gabby Giffords "Congress on your corner" event before the shooting... and the people that showed up (bused in by someone, tea party types).

Many of them armed... one guy had a handgun fall out of his pocket and hit the floor as he was changing seats (they lined up chairs so people could sit while they waited to talk to Gabby, as the line moved, everyone got up and moved one chair).

Not surprised that the shooting happened months later at a different Safeway.

These are the same unhinged people that now show up at Trump events.

They would shout at any Hispanic person that showed up... "go back to Mexico wetback" and other choice remarks.

Mind you this was at a Safeway in Douglas AZ and you could literally stand in the parking lot and throw rocks into Mexico.

One family that was in line next to me said they had lived on their ranch for 5 generations, since this area WAS part of Mexico...

The paraniod right might not know who to kill next with so many hatreds today, but they always want to kill someone.

It would be awfully tempting to be at a Trump rally and see if I could get one of the supporters removed by pointing and screaming at him. I don't think I could resist.
