the RNC lean on him to pick who they want as VP?

Have they already made a deal with the Donald that if he winds up as the nominee - they get to pick his running mate?

I'm just curious because knowing the Donald's personality - I would think that he would want to make the choice himself - but today I've been hearing on the cable news shows that Nicki Haley - she's giving the Repug response to the President's SOTU - is the leading candidate for VP.

Any thoughts on this?

Will be interesting to see because he pretty much can't pick from the rest of the field as he has already expressed an extreme lack of confidence in their abilities. Maybe Santorum though? I don't think he's gone after him yet. He would be bring the christians.

7. I think I agree ...

... There hasn't been a lot of Trump on Kasich browbeating, and only a little on Rubio. The RNC might use the threat of a convention candidate to encourage Trump to play along - as well as the BG state point you make.

But I still think Trump will be overtaken in the primary, so it probably won't matter.

8. We may finally find out who his "people" are

There are a few top staff who are known but other than that for all anyone knows (or if anyone asked) it might be Oompaloompas.

So why would he succumb to pressure to select someone else's choice of VP candidate?
