The Oregon idiots have effectively cowed Federal Law enforcement.

The GOP is chomping at the bit for this to turn into a Waco style incident so that they can relentlessly hammer the Democrats for it.

They are getting away with this mess because of it. Throw in a huge dose of teabagger ideology that would love nothing more than a massive armed conflagration, and it's pretty clear why they are being handled with kid gloves.

It's not right, but that seems to me to be the reason Federal Law enforcement has let them slide.

The group "wants" attention, and they are doing everything they can to try and provoke a conflict so they can claim they are the "victims" and the government is the aggressor. They are cowards and the have women and children with them so if the feds did try and take them down, it will look bad for the feds attacking them. The GOP will use this to their advantage, and the president knows this. Let the GOP complain all the want, Bundy and his gang are looking more and more like a bunch of bullies, and the majority of Americans are against what they are doing.

We were sure charges would be filed. They threatened and pointed firearms at federal agents. Refused to comply to orders. Refused to pay their debt. Blocked civilians from coming and going with reports of actually chasing people down with armed men in trucks.
We all thought they were just trying to avoid bloodshed and would surely pick them all up and file charges when all was settled down.
Nope, it's been over a year and I certainly never heard of any charges being made. Have you?
