however I don't see how Trump is anywhere near half Bernie. They are both definitely from outside of the political establishment but at their core they are totally different animals.

There are things I've heard Trump say that I've actually agreed with.

Trump’s similarities to Bernie – attacked jeb about “my brother kept us safe”. Critical of wall street and big bank practices. Critical of trade agreements. Critical of political corruption – like Bernie, he (probably) can’t be bought. Critical of Iraq invasion – I think don was against it at the outset. Both have NYC accents.

It's hard to compress involved subjects down to bumper sticker size, but the subject would really require a short essay. One point to make for me is it's hard to think of my fellow American's saying; "Well that's OK. Don's only HALF nazi."

For the record, I'm repelled by trump and even more repelled by his popularity. I liked him better in the 80's and 90's when he was on Howard Stern all the time and the NY Post headlined his quote about his latest hot gf; "The best sex I ever had."
