NRA reinventing fairy-tales: "Little Red Riding Hood Has A Gun"

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2016/01/14/little-red-riding-hood-has-a-gun-the-nra-reinve/207968

Little Red Riding Hood has a gun and she and Grandma shoot the Big Bad Wolf. The End.

Hey, I have an idea for more fairytales that can be upgraded with guns!

Hansel and Gretel:
As the parents realize they can no longer afford to feed their children, they decide against leading them into the forest to let them starve. Instead they kill their two children quick and painless with a bullet to the head. The End.

Goldilocks and the three Bears:
The Bears realize there's a burglar in their house and they shoot her. Turns out was a little girl. The End.

The Wolf and the three Piglets:
The Wolf realizes he can't blow their houses down. So he tries to kill them with a drive-by-shooting through the windows. The End.

The Story of the Youth Who Went Forth to Learn What Fear Was (one of the Grimms' fairytales):
When his wife empties a bucket of ice-cold water over the sleeping hero to teach him what fear is, he thinks she's some home-intruder attacking him and shoots her. The End.

Jack trades his family's milk cow for three magical beans. His mother shoots him for being so fucking stupid, eats the beans, then hunts down and kills the swindler who screwed Jack out of the family's cow. Then she sells the cow herself. The end.

...makes sense, since the wolf in Grimm's version of RRH dies anyway, by the huntsman's ax.
