Any more I view it as a waste of money and I enjoy not being dehydrated with a headache in the morning.
I won't fault anyone else for their drinking, but I do think advertisers push it too much and it influences underage children towards it. I think advertising alcoholic beverages should go the way cigarette advertising went.

(3,811 posts)He says (paraphrasing) : 'Your hobbies and diversions (football) are senseless and inane but my hobbies and diversions (music) are purposeful and fulfilling.'
I say everyone has their hobbies and interests and far be it for me to judge one over the other.
Football is a sport, a spectacle, and a deep tradition where I'm from (Alabama). Thanksgiving as a child meant my cousins and I running around my grandparent's house while the men watched Alabama football on television. The football tradition is bone deep in my family.

(24,726 posts)A bunch of 3rd round draft picks. Too small. Too slow. Always playing beyond their profile. No quit in them. Beginning with Steve Largent.
If you did you wouldn't be dissing them to this extent. I feel terrible for them. They are such competitors. So humble. Serve their community in so many ways.
Washington resident here. Football fan. Huge Seahawks fan. These guys owe me nothing. They have given me - and every other fan - so much fun and thrills over the years!
Any other 'Hawks fans out there? Help me out here.
If you're not - YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE MISSING!

(24,726 posts)Didn't think of it that way.
I just want them to end the season feeling good about themselves, as they should. And not badly hurt.

(39,961 posts)in commenting on this sports shit in GD. It's the playoffs. It's not like anyone is running up stats or anything, just commenting on scores.
Aerows
(39,961 posts)gave them a few just so the Seahawks wouldn't feel so badly about themselves.
