Bundy militia leader received over a half a million dollars in federal loans

In 2010, Bundy received a loan of $530,000 from the federal government for his truck maintenance company Valet Fleet Service LLC, based out of Arizona. When confronted about his possible hypocrisy of borrowing federal money while protesting the government, Bundy responded in questionable fashion. Claiming he was not "anti-government," Bundy stated that the role of government was to "protect the states from the outside world." Continuing, Bundy noting that if the government gets out of line, it's the people's responsibility to take action.
