WV Right to work (for less) back in front of a R Legislature

Ads are on tv, mostly pro because the oppressors have more money. The (now) Repug majority WV Legislature is getting ready to vote on right to work. A politician who was elected as a Democrat, but who changed parties is stepping down. Gov. Tomlin is going to appt. a replacement. The people who voted a Dem in want a Dem appointed. The oppressors want a Repug, so they can shove WV workers down the hole. If a Dem is appointed, it will change the majority. If a repug is appointed, then another state falls to economic oppression. Most of the people in this part of the country live paycheck to paycheck now, so this isn't good.

You have to be a complete idiot, if you are a working person, to vote repug. On the other hand, if you are rich, you'll get richer.

I think it's somewhat ironic.

A LOT of these construction guys I know voted republican because Obama was going to "take away their guns". Here it is 2016, Obama only has a few months to go and I still have all my guns and it turns out the guys they voted for are going to lower their wages.

WV is like 2nd to last in income level and very high in workplace injury but the GOP thinks they will bring prosperity to the state by cutting their wages and getting more of them killed on the job.

Stats show for instance that non union mines have higher number of fatal accidents. If workers protest dangerous working conditions and are fired or harassed and you work at a scab mine, you are on your own. No union rep or lawyer to stand behind you.

Sago and Upper Big Branch were both scab outfits.

We live right across the Ohio and it is a darn shame how many production and mining jobs have disappeared. And there are more injuries reported at places that are open. And if you have a conversation with somebody in the grocery store, it is a shame how people are getting treated. Repugs have been going on for over 20 years about Dems taking guns. Nobody has lost guns. But we have lost jobs, job protection, safety and benefits. You can't eat guns.

what's the point of the veto, since one could assume if they voted for the law, they'll vote to override the veto.
