crisis on the federal government.

Of course the interviewer went right along without correcting him.

Then he explained he wants the federal government to give money

to the states without interfering.

He is the governor of my state and I don't like him.

He is also a religious extremist.

I'm struggling in this group to imagine any that wouldn't cause daily nightmares if occupying the White House.

Rand Paul is probably the least insufferable. Christie probably has political beliefs that are more middle of the road and just plays to the right-wing, beyond being a petty bully. But I don't know that he'd be a bully on a pathological scale.

Actually, Pataki was the only one approximating Bob Dole/Jack Kemp-style governing (where your nightmares would be limited to one a week). Naturally, he's gone.
