I Feel Like The Florida Law Making Abortion A Felony Signals A More Extreme Agenda.

I find the Florida legislative action troubling. I can see state beginning to ignore the law on Roe V Wade and just start arresting women and abortion providers. We could see the same thing happen that happened during the civil rights movement where states just defied the federal authorities and went their own way any way.

I lived in Wichita, KS when the city council all but turned the city into an armed camp over Dr. Tiller's clinic. That was in the 90's. Of course, he was shot once, then murdered at his church.

The day Roe v. Wade was decided, that is the day this all started. The bad guys are just getting more legislative headway these days. Thanks to redistricting. Meanwhile Dems are infighting over who is a socialist, and debates, and tax increases.

If we do not unite, we are going to lose this one. And that won't be good for anybody, especially those who come after us.

Yes, I am being a bit snarky here, however I am very worried about this election and the childish infighting going on here.

I am supporting and will vote for Bernie Sanders in the primary here. I will support and vote for the Democratic nominee no matter who that is. Period!

Love your posts, my friend.

Suppression of women. It's the same in all religions, only to varying degrees.

Mr. Van Zant files this same bill in the first week of every FL legislative session, and has for 20+ years. I have written about this issue here before. It has to get past a whole bunch of committees before it ever gets to the floor for a vote. It never gets to the floor, so he refiles it next session.... (then there is a headline, someone posts it here, and I reply)
