Onizuka, McNair, Smith, Scobee, Reznik, Jarvis and McCauliffe...

30 years on and I can still feel the emotion of that day.

I know we are all enjoying the infighting and monkey rodeos, but take a moment to remember those lost trying to reach the stars...

could see the aftermath of the explosion in the sky. Just awful....

He admitted (very politely and politically) that NASA was in the midst of "Go Fever" and said the next flight would be the safest ever...he never flew again.



So sad that it happened again for essentially the same institutional reasons with Columbia.
