Like a warlord, he's carving up weak parts of the country one at a time. Jeb and Cruz in particular. The GOP has no appealing candidates at all and he filled the vacuum. Mainly because the mainstream candidates are dull as dishwater.

want to solve people's problems or give them a leg up. All they want is anything that will help the establishment cut more taxes and reduce more regulations. And the base is beginning to realize it.
