A trans woman from Virginia has said she was offered a job by KFC and fired within an hour after her manager learned about her gender identity....

But within minutes, the KFC manager called Carter to tell her to not bother coming in.

‘My supervisor and I have a problem because on your license it says “male”,’ Carter says he told her, and when she said it’s because she’s transgender, they said: ‘Oh, we can’t hire you because we don’t know which bathroom you can use.’

The manager claims he never offered Carter the job and it was only an interview. However, he said if she changes her gender to female on her driving license, he will reconsider.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to get my chicken lung somewhere else.

2. An offer letter? For an entry-level KFC job?

They wouldn't waste the paper. At best, an offer letter would take the form of a note hastily scrawled in wax pencil on th back of a dirty napkin.
