Donald Trump is political theater by design

By being so shockingly awful he makes Hillary Clinton look good, or at least better by comparison.

I think that is his actual job. It's all an act. The media never has to talk about how awful Hillary is because look! that Trump guy is even worse. So the media will spend 24/7 talking about how terrible Trump is which has the effect of making Hillary look like the lesser of two evils, and avoid talking about the issues. They know Hillary's favorable numbers are in the toilet and she is almost universally hated, so they need a guy like Trump to prop her up. It's the fear card. A punch in the face is better than a kick in the nuts!

Split the GOP in two again so Clinton can easily win it.

GOP voters are just too stupid and racist to figure it out and as long as you support letting them play around with their guns, they do not care.
